As an avid reader I can easily get wrapped up in a story. And oftentimes can be founds in my kitchen @ 1 am trying to finish a chapter in a good book.

I've performed spoken word poetry in & around Philly; published 2 chapbooks; faciltated poetry workshops for school age kids…yada yada yada…
 
I have my AS & BS degrees in Business Marketing from U of Phoenix.. My hope is that by 2011 I'll have my MS in Arts Administration from Drexel U. In 2006 I made the National Dean's List (YAAAAYYYY!!!). And, in 2007 I was nominated as an International Scholar Laureate for Business (YAAAAAAHOOOOO!!!!). Recently, I was nominated for the 2009 Who's Who in Business (who'da thunk it!!! LOL)

I not religious, but I am on a spiritual journey. I enjoy the process of strengthening my relationship with the One & having that energy source show up in unexpected ways & places even though I sometimes reject it like a spoiled two year old…hahaha.

I am currently working as an program coordinator full time for a university in Philly. I love my work,but I intend to do more. I intend not to retire not having lived & worked my passion, which is art & poetry & writing cuz I believe the One (or Higher Power, whatever) has mapped out a major plan for me. I just have to work through the process to realize it. And that's what I think I am doing now.
